A refined pendant featuring a polished sphere of natural Aquamarine, displaying the delicate sea-blue colour that gives the mineral its name. The gemstone is transparent, allowing light to pass through its interior and reveal subtle veils, growth features, and internal fractures that record its natural crystallisation history. The simple 18Kt gold setting highlights the stone itself, emphasising both colour and clarity.

Aquamarine is the blue variety of Beryl, coloured primarily by trace amounts of Iron within its crystal structure. Like Emerald, Morganite, and Heliodor, it belongs to the Beryl group, but develops its characteristic blue to blue-green hues through specific oxidation states of Iron during crystal growth. The stone's vitreous lustre and transparency reflect the hexagonal crystal structure typical of Beryl.

Russian Aquamarines formed within granitic Pegmatites, exceptionally coarse-grained igneous bodies created during the final stages of magma crystallisation. As volatile-rich fluids concentrated rare elements and dissolved components, large Beryl crystals grew within open pockets and fractures. These conditions allowed Aquamarine to develop its remarkable clarity and colour, producing specimens prized by both mineral collectors and gemstone enthusiasts.
