Orange Calcite is a calcium carbonate mineral distinguished by its translucency and layered internal structure formed through successive mineral deposition. This specimen has been cut and polished into a geometric cube, revealing the mineral’s natural banding and tonal variation.
The polished surfaces expose flowing bands of amber, honey and pale cream Calcite intersected by linear veining throughout the formation. Variations in translucency and internal structure become visible as light passes through the mineral, emphasising the density and layered composition of the Calcite.
The geometric form contrasts with the organic mineral structure, presenting the specimen as a refined mineral object suited to interior display.
