A beautifully elegant pendant showcasing a natural rough Heliodor crystal from Ukraine, elegantly mounted in handcrafted 18Kt gold. The gemstone displays a delicate champagne-yellow to pale golden hue, with a translucent glow that captures and softens light throughout its crystalline interior. Rather than being cut and polished, the crystal retains its natural form, preserving the organic beauty created by geological processes over millions of years.

Heliodor is the golden-yellow variety of Beryl, the same mineral family that includes Emerald, Aquamarine, and Morganite. Its name derives from the Greek words Helios (sun) and Doron (gift), meaning “gift of the sun.” The warm golden colouration is typically produced by traces of Iron within the crystal structure, giving Heliodor its distinctive sunlit appearance.

Ukraine has produced notable Beryl specimens from Pegmatite deposits, where crystals can develop exceptional clarity and natural crystal forms.

The minimalist 18Kt gold mounting embraces the crystal without overwhelming it, allowing the raw contours, natural fractures, and internal reflections of the heliodor to remain the focal point.
