A exquisite pendant featuring a polished bar of highest grade natural Larimar, displaying the soft sky-blue and white cloud-like patterns for which this rare gemstone is renowned. The stone exhibits intricate marbling and subtle colour variations created by its fibrous internal structure, while the minimalist 18kt gold setting provides an elegant contrast to the cool Caribbean hues.

Larimar is a rare blue variety of Pectolite, a Calcium Sodium Silicate mineral found almost exclusively in the Dominican Republic. Its characteristic blue colour is produced by trace amounts of Copper within the crystal structure, while the swirling white patterns reflect the mineral's radiating fibrous growth. These natural variations make every piece unique, often evoking the appearance of tropical seas and sunlight reflecting through shallow water.

Larimar formed within volcanic rocks through hydrothermal activity associated with ancient Caribbean volcanism. Mineral-rich fluids circulated through cavities and fractures in the host basalt, depositing Pectolite that later acquired its distinctive blue colour through Copper enrichment. The result is one of the world's most geographically unique gemstones, prized by collectors and jewellery enthusiasts alike for both its rarity and unmistakable appearance.
