These specimens typically originate from pegmatitic environments, contact metamorphic zones, or hydrothermal vein systems where the necessary chemical and physical conditions converge. The process requires specific temperature ranges and fluid compositions to achieve the delicate balance between quartz growth and amphibole preservation.
