ENERGY PROPERTIES

Growth Interference Quartz is a stone of transformation, encouraging one to embrace the beauty found within life's interruptions and unexpected shifts.

It's energies assist in recognising that obstacles and interference patterns are not merely barriers, but integral components of one's evolutionary journey.

It helps one recognise the power of persistence through adversity. Where growth has been interrupted and then resumed, new layers of strength and resilience are built – a testament that setbacks do not diminish one's potential, but rather add depth and character to one's path. The visible record of interference within the crystal serves as a reminder that perfection lies not in unbroken progress, but in the courage to continue despite disruption.

Growth Interference Quartz resonates with those navigating major life transitions, helping one to understand that periods of stagnation or redirection are preparing the foundation for more authentic growth. Its energies support the integration of fragmented experiences, encouraging one to see the whole of one's story rather than isolated chapters of success or struggle.

CRYSTAL KNOWLEDGE

These crystals display distinctive unusual crystal formations created when Calcite competed with Quartz for space during crystallisation. These specimens show Quartz growth interrupted by thin Calcite plates that later dissolved away, leaving behind crystals with altered or interrupted growth patterns.

The process involves Quartz and Calcite growing in nearly simultaneous alternating cycles, with the more soluble calcite interfering with silica deposition before dissolving under acidic conditions after Quartz growth was completed. This creates Quartz crystals with layered appearances and interesting growth interruptions, often featuring unusual surface distortions, multiple terminations, and complex prismatic or tabular habits.
